Since 1991, Bright Eyes Early Learning Center has continued to provide families in Montgomery County, MD, Frederick County, MD, and Washington County, MD with quality early learning programs in the care of the best early childhood educators. All Bright Eyes locations are Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) accredited and follow MSDE approved curriculum. Our staff demonstrate the utmost care to all children and families. Teacher Positions:

​

Teachers are responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of a teaching team and functions as a team leader and team player. The teacher plans and implements the curriculum and, with active participation of other members of the teaching team, works with parents and assesses the needs of individual children.

• 1 year of licensed childcare experience

• AA Degree in Early Childhood Education OR see below

• Preschool Certification: 90-hour Preschool Course, supporting breastfeeding course, ADA certificate, Basic Health & Safety Course, Covid training, 9-hour communication course. Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification preferred as well. 45-hour Infant & Toddler Course.​​

Aide Positions:

Aides are responsible for assisting the teachers with care and education of children, assisting in classroom activities, and overseeing the safety and wellbeing of all children. Aides must demonstrate maturity, responsibility, motivation and teamwork.

ALL Candidates MUST:

​

• Be at least 16 years of age

• must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic

• Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible

• Willing to work with different age groups

• Must be able to assist with diaper changing and assisting children

• Experience in a child care setting is preferred, but not required.

Requirements for all applicants:

• Be at least 16 years of age.

• Complete a physical and TB test

• Be fingerprinted and complete a criminal background check.

• Have CPR & First Aid Certification or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire date.

• Prior Child Care experience is preferred, but not required.

• Have reliable transportation.

• Have a valid work permit, if applicable

• Proof of trainings and certifications, if applicable.

• Be able to complete required Early Childhood coursework online and in class.

• Must be available between 6:30am and 6:30pm

• Must have reliable transportation

Hours:

Full Time, Part Time, Substitute

(must be flexible and reliable between 6:30am-6:30pm Monday-Friday)
